Loganair, the UK's largest regional airline, is celebrating the return of summer flights between two of its key destinations, Newcastle and Newquay.

Twice weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, have now resumed and will operate throughout the summer season until the end of October this year.

With a flying time of around 80 minutes, it is the only direct flight between the two cities, offering customers a fast and convenient way to travel between the northeast and southwest.

Operated by an Embraer 145, the favourable flight times of 14:10 on Wednesdays and 17:00 on Saturdays from Newcastle and 16.05 on Wednesdays and 18.55 on Saturdays from Newquay allows customers time to enjoy an extended break on both sides.

Customers travelling south to Newquay can enjoy time spent on the region's renowned white sandy beaches and navigating its stunning coastlines. While Newcastle welcomes those travelling north to enjoy its vibrant cultural scene, with numerous theatres, art galleries, and music venues to explore.

In addition to Newquay, Loganair also offers a variety of choices to more destinations across the UK and Europe, including a five-times weekly service to Exeter, a daily service to Southampton, three times weekly connection with Stavanger and two times weekly flight to Bergen in Norway.

Reservations for Newcastle – Newquay flights can be made online or via travel agents. All Loganair flights include 15kg luggage allowance as standard, and advance booking is encouraged to benefit from the best value fares. Frequent Loganair customers can also take advantage of the airline’s loyalty programme - Clan Loganair.
