During the first days of November, more than 377,900 visitors have been registered in the state of Quintana Roo, averaging 53,900 per day. The figures were provided by the National Institute of Migration (INM) who reported the figures from November 8 to 14.
The National Institute of Migration (INM) of the Ministry of the Interior registered the admission of 377,903 people to the state of Quintana Roo by air, sea and land. The data available to the INM Representation Office in the state of Quintana Roo indicates that from November 8 to 14, 202,287 people entered the state by air, 163,943 by sea, and 11,673 by land.
The INM reports that institute personnel attended to an average of 53,986 tourists admissions per day.
The main nationalities that entered by air from 1,280 flights during that period were from the United States, Canada, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, France, Peru, Spain.
Travelers arriving by land came from Belize, the United States and Canada, and by sea, from the United States, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Canada, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, Italy and South Africa.
The INM also reports that from January 1 to November 13, 2022, they have processed more than 22.7 million people from 214 countries at international airports across Mexico.
Those arriving by air have done so through international airports on 252,212 flights with the main nations being the United States, Canada, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Spain, Argentina, Peru, Brazil and France, as well as people of Mexican origin.
In July, 2,505,019 tourists were recorded entering the country, while September was the lowest with 1,854,503. The National Institute of Migration of the Ministry of the Interior reports that from January 1 to November 13 of the current year, 22,747,348 passengers arrived in Mexico.
At the INM filters at each airport, the Federal Migration Agents (AFM) attended, on average, 2 million admissions per month.
